Recommended Mediums
By selecting the 180 GSM Uncoated Art Paper for the interior pages of TJCB it allows for a wide range of coloring mediums that can be used. This is a very thick paper but it is not impenetrable. *For those unfamiliar with the GSM measurement… 180 GSM is equivalent to 120 lb. text paper.
Below are the the mediums we recommend and the ones we do not. We have also included our recommendations for each.
WATER-BASED MARKERS
Bold and vibrant colors.*IF you use Alcohol Markers they will bleed through. So, use with caution. This is why we have a “Test Your Colors” page in the book. 🙂

Coloring Tips
- Start with lighter colors first and add darker colors later for shading and depth.
- Use smooth, even strokes to create a clean and polished look.
- Experiment with blending colors to make your artwork more vibrant and realistic.
- Rotate the page as you color to help reach difficult areas more comfortably.
- Take your time and enjoy the process — great coloring comes from patience and creativity.
